Post-Fire recovery project support
As wildfires continue to burn larger areas each year across the western United States, the need for timely, well-coordinated post-fire recovery has never been greater. Effective stabilization and restoration require rapid assessment, clear treatment priorities, strong interagency coordination, and disciplined implementation.
With 12 years of experience on the National Interagency Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) Team—including service as a BAER Implementation Leader—I have managed complex post-fire stabilization efforts across state and federal lands. My work included coordinating multidisciplinary specialists, developing treatment recommendations, overseeing contracts and agreements, and ensuring treatments were implemented efficiently and in compliance with agency requirements.
